Curving Lines – proof of musical self-fulfillment
Dave Voss – a multi-instrumentalist, singer & songwriter from Leicester (UK), having been a part of different music bands, raging from Post-Rock (‘Maybeshewill’ band) to Chill music – has now launched his own solo project – Protect the Citizen.
Dave has been involved in music all his life: started playing trumpet at 6, drums in high-school (which even got him into some disciplinary troubles), guitar in his youth, singing & song-writing & music composition during several years and now he’s taking over keyboards for his latest endeavours. Protect the Citizen – Dave’s last project – focuses on an experimental and ambient approach to music production, combining electronic sounds with organic audio samples of household objects (wind chimes, office equipment, books, etc.). Earlier this year the artist released his first album “The Things We Never Said” and now is aiming for an EP, that will bring some Glitch sounds to the collection. It seems like musical self-discovery and realisation is what challenges Dave the most and his new piece “Curving Lines” is a clear proof of it!
