Willy Joy Delivers Twisted Mash-up of NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel’s ‘Aftershock’

I’m not sure entirely where to begin with this one. The first listen made me jump up and switch on straight away, because it was almost as if I was listening to a song that couldn’t quite work out what it was. The intertwining drops, synths, and bass make the record feel like about 3 tracks in one. What can I say? A free download and a 3-in-1. Winning!

Having joined up with Boombox Cartel, ‘Aftershock’ was originally created alongside NGHTMRE, the LA based artist has been getting noticed rapidly after his rise from seemingly anonymous uploads to collaborations with Dillon Francis. Skrillex has also been noted as a fan, having played his track  ‘Street’ at Ultra Music Festival. Now, Chicago based producer Willy Joy has taken ‘Aftershock’ and flipped it on its head. We expect further big things from NGHTMRE, that’s for sure.
