Toronto, Canada, otherwise referred to as “the 6”, is home to a number of some of the biggest and greatest artists in the game right now who all made Canada proud by really putting the city on the map. Such artists include Drake, the Weeknd, and Tory Lanez. However, it seems to be the city that keeps on giving as it is also home to some other artists who are currently on the come up and are really starting to make their mark.

One of those artists goes by the name Nav and has begun to gain notable recognition, which is not at all surprising. He has been praised by many for his dreamy and wavy beats that are always accompanied by his smooth and clean flow. Although everything by him is fire in my opinion, “Myself”  is definitely one of my favorites. While I’m sure that there are quite a few people who will take that stance with me, one thing that’s for certain is that it was definitely lit enough to catch the attention of L.A based producer J-Louis, who proceeded to provide us with his take on the song.

J-Louis has worked his magic on a series of renowned tracks such as Drake’s “The Real Her”  and “Sweeterman” as well as on Bryson Tiller’s “Ease” and “Been That Way”. His mark was definitely evident throughout all of them as he successfully incorporates his chill beats on each one. He manages to do so again with Nav’s “Myself” while also lowering the pitch just right which ends up making the track even more dreamy and wavy than it was initially, something many didn’t think was even possible.

J-Louis definitely doesn’t fail to impress with this one so make sure to stream it below and check it out on SoundCloud for that free download!
